2 Days from Fez to Fes via Merzouga Desert

Embark on an unforgettable Moroccan adventure with this captivating itinerary. Day 1 takes you from Fez through the Middle Atlas mountains, immersing you in the beauty of Ifrane's cedar forests and the stunning Ziz Gorges. Reach Merzouga, where a thrilling camel ride awaits, leading you to a mesmerizing sunset and a night in nomad tents, surrounded by the enchanting Sahara. Day 2 starts with a magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel. Departing for Fez, you'll traverse the scenic Ziz Valley, encounter playful monkeys in Azrou, and arrive in Fez, reflecting on an incredible journey.

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga.

Your driver will meet you at your riad or Hotel at 8:00a.m., depart and transport (7 hours) over the Middle Atlas mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco),azrou, Midelt and the Ziz gorges towards Sahara, until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon.,after relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents.

Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez.

We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Fez.We will travel via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains as we depart the desert region to Fes. We will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes.
